Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of lightboxAIcloud (https://lightbox-ai.cloud), operated by Serbek Technologies, LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company.

1. Service Description

lightboxAIcloud is a cloud-native photo Digital Asset Manager. It connects to your cloud storage accounts (Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive) to index, organize, and manage your photo library.

2. No Warranty

This service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Face recognition is an optional, opt-in feature disabled by default. If you enable it, you represent that you have any consent required under applicable law from the individuals appearing in your photos. All face detection, embedding, and clustering is performed locally on our infrastructure using open-source models — no third-party AI service is involved. You may disable face recognition or wipe all face data at any time from the Settings page.

3. Limitation of Liability

Serbek Technologies, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Attempt to disrupt or overload the service
Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

The service software, design, and branding are the property of Serbek Technologies, LLC. Programs and content you create using the service remain yours.

6. Jurisdictional Compliance

By using this service, you warrant that your use complies with all applicable local, state, and national laws in your jurisdiction. If these Terms or any aspect of the service conflicts with the laws of your jurisdiction, you must immediately cease use of the service. We reserve the right to restrict access from any jurisdiction at our sole discretion.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
